The Body I Inhabit Photograph

Rocio Villanueva is an Italian-Guatemalan photographer and artist. Who resides in Guatemala. A self-taught, who uses digital photography as her canvas and intervention through Photoshop as her tools for creation. Her creative process begins beyond the computer. It starts with a paper sketch that takes shape through different elements, time, places, and characters. Her images represent parallel worlds with the use of light and shadow, color and textures that create a different vision of nonexistent places with a painterly look.
