About The Artwork
In the series, The Lightness of Light, the artist explores the concepts of chaos and calm within oneself, and how the continuous struggle to maintain the balance between the both keeps us present and aware. Chaos represented with long exposure photographs of an illuminated double pendulum. On the other hand, calm is represented with another long exposure photograph of someone performing a yoga routine wearing a suit with electroluminescent wire to capture the movements of the body.
