ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The Mont Everest. Early morning. View from the Everest Base Camp (5150m). May 29, 1996. This morning our expedition was leaving the Mont Everest Base Camp. All the tents had been packed and loaded into the truck the previous day. We spent the night in the open air. The end of May, even at an altitude of 5 kilometers in Tibet is getting warmer. And the Mont Everest with these first rays of spring sun seemed a little warmed up, almost warm, homely. It was as if it did not want to say goodbye to us.
