Visual artist working in photography. Swiss born, Berlin (Germany) based. In her works Eva Brunner depicts the various layers of reality and their underlying narrative structures – their disruptions and fragmentations. She is intrigued with the complexity of identity („Being Barbara“) and the intricacies of nature within a world of artificiality („No Escape from Paradise“). Her new project "Perchance to dream" is a fictional diary oscillating between dream and reality - between snapshots and elaborate stagings - in collaboration with her model and partner in life, science fiction author Bernhard Kempen. www.evabrunner.net
