About The Artwork

Q: What/who inspired the work? A: I was thinking about time and evanescence. Something that lives, dies one day. This is the cycle of evanescence and counts for everything and this is what gives everything its worth. It doesn't have to be alive to die. Something abstract like a chance can also "die" and depending on how quickly its gone, tells you its worth given by evanescence. Q: What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? A: I want the viewers to ask themselves what the "fruit" is. Everything that lives, dies one day. Only the fruit lives on. What is the fruit and why is it so important to be aware of it? Q: Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? A: Knowledge is bright. Wisdom is white. But we know nothing.
