Tide Rushing In - Limited Edition 1 of 5 Photograph

On an overcast late afternoon, I happen to be at Shaw's cove in Laguna Beach, California. I happened to jump in between the reef at low tide. I was waist deep and felt as though I was in a canyon. I leaned down just as the wave crashed into the reef and had the great joy of capturing this one of a kind shot. I raised the camera up just as the wave hit me. I was soaked from the waist down and no damage was done to my camera, thankful for that! I love this shot for the action and feeling it gives. I have tried to replicate this shot, to no avail. Sometimes, the spontaneity and quick thinking of the shot make it so special because it is so difficult to replicate. It was well worth the soaking I got to get this fantastic picture!
