About The Artwork
I was inspired by the desire to revisit my childhood memories of Uganda before I left and became a refugee. I wanted to capture the beauty of Uganda's landscape so you could experience the beauty I saw when I was growing up. I chose to use a digital camera (a DSLR) for this trip because it involved hiking, rickety bridges, dangerous terrain and I when I travel like this, I need something light.
