About The Artwork
Cyanotype - an ancient photographic process with photosensitive ironsalts. The print is exposed in contact under a 1:1 negative in the sun or in artifical ultraviolett light and developed in a special watersolution. The cyanotype is on strong paper or drawing carton.Every print is an unicum and exists only once. Cyanotypie - eine historische Phototechnik mit lichtempfindlichen Eisensalzen. Das Bild wird unter einem 1:1 Negativ im Kontaktverfahren in der Sonne oder mit künstlichem ultraviolettem Licht belichtet und einen einer speziellen Wasserlösung entwicklet. Jede Cyantotypie ist ein Unikat. Die Cyanotypie war früher eine Lichtpaustechnik und ein Kopieverfahren. Heute zählt die Cyanotypie zu den Edeldruckverfahren.
