About The Artwork
A black and white picture of a profile from the nose to the chin which takes up one side vertically. Merged atop the nose is that same profile but upside down so the noses are right on top of each other. The rest of the image is taken up by flowers and foliage. Trust is a straight line. Trust is a forward line. Trust is seeing without using your eyes. I want this work to convey how prepared the subject is to move forward and stay with the line (of trust) without knowing what’s in store. The subject trusts that wherever the line leads, she is protected.
