"Woman" The work is part of a video-photography project on Eroticism that I initiated in 2021. The inspiration for this project comes from a deep curiosity about human sexuality and the desire to explore and understand its various facets. I hope that viewers of this project will be prompted to reflect on the diverse and complex nature of eroticism. I aim to provoke thought and stimulate discussions about this often intriguing and sometimes taboo aspect of human experience. For this project, I chose the medium of video and photography to create a comprehensive exploration of eroticism. The subject matter, which revolves around the exploration of individuals' erotic lives, was selected due to its universal relevance and the depth of human emotions involved. These themes are rich and complex, making them an ideal focus for artistic exploration. In-depth, the project involves conducting interviews with both women and men to delve into their personal experiences with eroticism. Following these interviews, I capture photographs that encapsulate the essence of their narratives. It's important to note that participants in this project have described the experience of erotic photography as having profound positive implications. It has contributed to increased body esteem, feelings of empowerment, and has allowed individuals, especially women, to see themselves as sexual beings. Importantly, it provides them with an opportunity to create a sexual image in a photograph on their own terms, giving them control over their own narratives and experiences.
