" The human being has always been in the heart of my work and my concerns. I have drawn him, filmed him, directed him and I have written about him. Through my artistic work, I have tried to understand its behaviors and its hurts, how to aproach its mystery and be closer to its feelings, identify its place, its legitimacy among others. Over the years, with the desire, the need to approach closer the essential, I refined my work to capture the essence. Today it is behind the human’s face and body that I go to meet him, seeking the impression left in him by what he saw, felt all these images forever etched in the memory of his eyes, his skin. On these retinal photos, I draw. I draw what we can not see but it’s there, I trace the way of our emotions as an X-ray of the intimacy."
