In the middle of Tiergarten, stand tall a tall column with a golden angel. Initially, the column was created to commemorate the victory in the Dano-Prussian war. But at the moment of it's inaugurated, Prussia had already won the Franco-Prussian and Austro-Prussian wars. The column was redesign and finally added Victoria, the roman goddess. This way, Victory Column commemorates 3 victories.
