This photograph was taken quite near where we are staying on the Schunbrunner StraBe. The Apapika cafe is painted bright pink and I snapped the photograph before realising it was a policeman very handsomely sitting there. Well he peered at me as I went on my way ! In crafting this piece, I was drawn to the stark contrasts of everyday life, captured here in black and white. The scene unfolds outside a cafe called 'Apapika', where a lone policeman waits under the leisurely cover of an umbrella, juxtaposed against the bustling city. This moment, frozen in time, delves into themes of solitude and vigilance amidst urban motion. It's a reflection on the quiet interludes that punctuate our often hectic lives. I hope this photograph will bring a sense of contemplative calm to your space, encouraging moments of pause and observation. This photograph will be printed in Black and white on photo paper with a white border to allow fro a signature bottom right and a number bottom left. It will be sent safely in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.
