This photo is in the permanent collection of LACMA. This is print #6 in a limited edition of 12 at this 20" x 16” size. The image area is 18" x 12" with a white border. Since 1980 I’ve photographed roadside signs along America’s streets, highways, and country roads. In 2007, many of these were published in the book Bible Road: Signs of Faith in the American Landscape (David & Charles). Works from the Bible Road series are part of the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, Saint Louis Art Museum, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the Princeton University Art Museum, as well as the noted private collections of Hollywood producer Bruce Berman, chairman of Village Roadshow Pictures, and Paul Sack of San Francisco (both listed among the world’s top photography collectors by ARTnews).

 Photographs from the series have been in solo and group exhibitions at O.K. Harris Gallery in New York, Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Afterimage Gallery in Dallas.
