ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this photograph at the Palace of the Marquises of Fronteira in Lisbon, Portugal. What motivated me to choose to photograph this window was the beauty and historical importance of the tiles that line the wall, in addition to the fact that I have a predilection for the theme of old windows. For collectors who appreciate architectural photography, here's an excellent option.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
