Within the line #04 Photograph - Limited Edition of 25

Limited editions of 70x90cm are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag paper 308 g/m2, and are delivered with author certificate. Each artwork is provided with an extra 2cm white border on all four sides to facilitate framing. Following a series of tests, the paper was chosen very carefully; the texture gives the image an almost sculptural quality, emphasizing the volume and curves of sea surface and creating the illusion of infinite space. This series is full of nuances yet not without a beauty that challenges us. Depicting a wounded and vulnerable sea with a naked body delving into its depth, intruding it like a Sibyl and revealing a precarious ecosystem. “Within the Line” offers a dialogue that opens the horizon for further questions of their own gaze. Which body protects which? I hope to redefine the relationship between humans and nature through my artworks. Redefining our role in nature, not as dominants or controllers of it, but as part of it, creating connections with our surroundings. One of my connections lies within the shores that I photographed for this series, the shores of the Balearic Islands, that I have visited every year since I was a child.
