About The Artwork

To let the magic of light and the magic of the moment become visible on the fleeting surface of time, in the flowing transition between apparent reality, subjectively perceived anyway, and the magic world of the surreal and the virtual, guided along yellow lines. Border spaces - understood not only in the geopolitical sense, but also in the urban, cultural, literary, sociopsychological or metaphysical sense - are individually captured photographically, be it through the photographic documentation of the real moment and the associated alienation of the freezing, the staging, the scenic superimposition of fiction and reality. Heinz Heister, November 2009 Certificate + signature label. Fine art print (Giclée) on Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Artist Inventory Number (No.1-7)

I search for the unreal, the surreal in reality - hence photography as a form of expression of supposed objective reality. "The surprising can be found in the everyday of urban space, in the artificial landscape of cities and industrial landscapes that we ourselves have created. I am fascinated by filigree, undiscovered structures and forms that form a poetic interplay with the ordinary, a paradoxical contrast, a borderland". In order to depict this, to make it visible, not only the point of view becomes the protagonist, but also a special kind of development as well as the digital influence on the actual photography without, however, changing it in its essence and its originality. Border spaces between reality and reality.
