About The Artwork
DESCRIPTION: It is an art project I am on going and keep creating while I am traveling. Hope to projects the deepest and inner loneliness of every human being would encountered. On the other hand, it is a self-reflection of loneliness while I got to work and see people in different countries, still there's a big part of it I need to face the isolation and loneliness towards people. We shouldn't be afraid to show our emotions. Through photography it transform into a form of Art capturing objects in pure and neutral state of mind. Chosen objects are all young adults which enhance a bigger contrast of being lonely while we always assume young adults are usually surround by friends. Arouse the questions that even you are surrounding with people does that truly mean we won't have the moment of loneliness? PHOTOGRAPHY APPROACH: The approach of photography is in simplest black and white format which helps to neglect the conception thinking of what colors means to us or distort the true meaning of the Art. INSPIRATION: I work in the fashion and advertising/ print industry for more than 10 years. Fashion photography reflects a huge part of my work. Since the beginning of my photography work, fashion and art photographer, Hedi Slimane do inspires me and many others in his art approaches. Besides, another huge part of me was inspired by movies and cinematic scene due to my another education in Music and Media Productions. I do concentrate more in capture the objects emotions and mood to project what story I am telling. I love to photographs objects with great characters along side with my experience in castings and cutting edge fashion sense, it becomes the uniqueness of my work.
