Rolled with many layers of protection, and shipped in a double reinforced cardboard tube. _ CANNABIS: A MICROCOSM OF HEALTH A bunch of bananas, the sporangia hang from the stamina of the male flower in full bloom. This series show the Cannabis sativa like unprecedented microspaces of a botanical, medicinal, cultural, and nutritional universe. An homage to the occult and little known potential of these fragments of nature, source of health and a target in phytopharmacology and neuroscience. I express them in a intimate vision, as suggestive encounters in a trip to the microcosm of this plant, in different life cycles, from its germination to its flowering and reproduction. Its root bursts vigorously and, in the sublime instant of the germination, its cotyledons rise and its true leaves open like wings about to take flight. One can't help but think of the cultural connotations of its use as a recreational drug. On your leaf delicate spheres on top of poky promontories emerging from the skin, they are the trichomes, a minute epicurean garden acting as a true pharmacological reserve of dozens of different cannabinoids. The yellow sporangia contains thousands of microspheres of life, some shining like soap bubbles, and others they are shown as exoplanets. Microlandscapes of health inside a tiny plant world. REAL SIZE of the subject of the artwork: 15 x 22 mm (0.6 x 0.9 in). As a medium I use the digital photography with the help of a microscope. I define my author projects, more visual than discursive, like "Quiet and pleasant strolls through the microcosm of human: microspaces of a parallel universe of emotional energy." Like processes that take place in our creative mind of logic gates with switches of colors. The creative mind: the completely "irrational" and so exclusive trait of the homo sapiens. - In my teenage years, I observed to the microscope a thin slice of rock that contained an astounding amount of microfossils of single-cell animals, petrified hundreds of millions of years ago, but still telling about their morphology, their habitat, their staggering biodiversity, and their role in our evolutionary history. Their narration took the form of microlandscapes of endless mass graves full of delicate recumbent beings. I felt the need to retain that moment in my memory capturing it with a photograph. My pictures want be an unedited vision across suggestive and baffling parallel-universe, unknown but very close: tiny corners of an infinite reality. I wish to share these snapshots with other naked eyes, viewers diving into them and promenading through them leisurely: in a symbiosis of aesthetic experience, cognitive process and also a reflection on the theme of those artworks, speaking to us about our technoscience present which is writing our future. As a medium for my artistic production, I use the digital photography (fine art pigment prints) with the help of a microscope.
