Art Description

Printmaking: Printmaking, Ink on Paper.

This piece highlights the plight of these important pollinators - which have recently been classed as endangered. Bees are so important to the ecosystem of the planet, and we treat them as though they are of little importance. In this piece they have been blown up much bigger and painted in high detail to draw attention to their beautiful intricate little bodies. The wings are on fire as they plummet to earth, a visual metaphor for their endangered status....

Archival inks Giclee on Somerset Velvet 330gsm Paper. Edition of just 25. Signed, numbered and stamped by the Artist.
