ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When we first moved to the country I planted a garden against the side of our barn, only to have critters eat every last lily bulb. Since then I've learned to let nature take it's course, and a wildflower garden has taken over, to my delight. This diptych is my attempt to capture that wild joy in deep summer. The size, 14.75 x 26.5, includes the black frame that sets it off, with non-glare glass to protect it. It's a favorite of mine, and I've had it on my wall for the last two years. Time, finally, to let it go, and let other works of mine see the light of day on my wall.
