About The Artwork
My passion is for the grand and fragile landscapes of the alps, which are so majestic and eternal but at the same time so endangered. The great outdoors, super-human untouchable. It is about the interplay of rock and ice and snow formations, which builds the ideal playground for graphic structure. Although I try to cover this beauty in photorealistic expression there is also space for abstract pieces working with, patches, and surfaces. This etching is hand-printed by the artist in a limited edition of 25. It is part of a series of work and exhibitions done to explore and celebrate the landscape of the fantastic Western Alps and their majestic 4000m peaks.
