About The Artwork

My homage to Antonioni''s Swinging London masterpiece Blow Up, focusing on the theme at the heart of the movie, namely how to interpret a photographic image, and what it might or might not tell us about the nature of 'reality'. This image is a unique edition of 3 only. My printing is done at the Print Space in Hoxton, London (specialists in fine art and professional photography) onto acid-free Hahnemuhle German Etching 310 gsm archival art paper. Please note, the actual size of this print is 40 x 26 inches with a 4-inch white border all around, so 48 x 34 inches is the size to consider for framing purposes. If you click on 'view in a room' it will give you a good idea of how it will look on your wall. I should add that one of the most frequent questions I get from potential buyers is about pricing, so let me break down how that works. 30% goes to Saatchi in commission. Printing for larger size (30-40-plus inches wide / high) prints costs around $130-$200 per print. I oversee printing personally and only sign off when I'm happy with the result. Each image will take me days, sometimes weeks, to complete, so you're also paying for the time and expertise invested in each work, plus all that intangible stuff we call 'the creative process'

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Started out in fine art, switched to photography, film and video before finding a niche in journalism, covering music, film and entertainment in London, Sydney and Tokyo. In 2003, I packed in journalism to work part-time in marketing and (more importantly) become a full-time dad. This gave me a lot more at-home time, and the chance to get into digital print-making, a medium that I have been exploring ever since.
