ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Blue water is a seascape, an imaginary marine world, where fishes, water bubbles and seaweed create a peaceful yet busy image. I used etching and drypoint printmaking techniques and I added contrasting Japanese rusty and blue coloured chine collé, vertical marks and scratchy circles add depth and layers. Each print is slightly different in this variable edition. This piece is also available without chine collé.

I am a french artist working and living in the U.K. I started printmaking at the Slade School of Art and never looked back. I have a particular interest in drypoint, etching, chine colle. I like mixing traditional printmaking techniques. I am a member of The Oxford Printmakers and exhibit with them several times a year. I have had a few solo shows, in France and in the UK and currently working on art exchange project between OPC and Hotbed press, Artomat in the US and opening a small gallery. My art is inspired by the little things that form the bigger picture, personal maps and landscapes.
