ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The works in this series consider ideas around belonging and a sense of place. Map-like abstract imagery helps to suggest the idea of navigation to its audience. The traditional method of acid etching alludes to belonging from a historical context; considering a sense of belonging that takes place from cultural heritage. Circumstellar #7 uses imagery that help this abstract work suggest a chart with strong celestial connotations.
