Mr. Halliday paints in his studio and on location in Maine, the Southwest and abroad. His paintings are in private and corporate collections and exhibited at galleries in Louisville, Bardstown, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. He has received special recognition and awards for his work in watercolor and acrylics. He is a signature member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society and Taos National Society of Watercolorists. Landscape is a keen interest and the focus of much of his work. Recently, his painting Cloudscape - Taos Mountains was included in The Artist and the American Landscape, a new book tracing the development of American landscape painting from the 18th century till today.
