I took this photo of David Bowie in February 1979 when he returned to London from years in Berlin. This was at Cafe royal for a short press call for the film ' Just a Gigilo'. I make my own silk screen editions after encouragement form Andy Warhol in the 1980's. This is a unique portrait of Bowie looking relaxed and healthy. Many people had requested the image It felt right to make a large Red edition for today.
