I am a self-taught artist, author, and illustrator born in the French Alps, and living in Japan. I create oil pantings, black and white silk screen prints, ink illustrations, and oil pastels artworks. I like to make art pieces that can greatly decorate a home or any room, and create a special atmosphere as I particularly focus on decorative art. For oil pastels I use mainly the very colourful and creamy Sennelier oil pastels and thick Shinbafun Japanese paper. All the artworks are specially varnish with a protective coat. For oil paintings I usually paint on wood panels. I create my own homemade silk screen prints without the help of any machine or computer (nothing is digitally drawn or retouched). The original art is drawn by hand with ink on a fine paper that is later oiled to create the stencil. The screen is burnt under the natural light of the sun. The printing occurs one time only with a very limited number of prints (5 to 20). The original hand drawing is then destroyed. I use Japanese "washi" or "Shinbafun" paper. All the prints have their own micro differences that make them unique.
