Karen J Revis is a painter, printmaker and papermaker living in New York City. She is represented by Sears Peyton Gallery in New York and was rewarded a SIP fellowship at Robert Blackburn Workshop funded by Elizabeth Foundation. She has also completed residencies at Pyramid Atlantic, Henry Street Settlement and the Women’s Studio Workshop where she is currently a board member. Karen studied fine art at the Corcoran School of the Arts in Washington D.C. and received a BFA from Pratt Institue, Brooklyn, NY. Her work is featured in The Art of Encaustic Painting: Contemporary Expression in the Ancient Medium of Pigmented Wax by Joanne Mattera and is in numerous public and private collections including Alliance Capital Management, New York / The Venetian Macau Hotel, Macau / The Metropolitan Club, Boston MA and Winston & Strawn, San Francisco,CA.
