Kristjana was introduced to cartography in geography class when she was growing up in Iceland. The maps she saw showed these colourful places full of exotic flora and fauna that she couldn’t experience at home. Kristjana used to draw these maps and fill them in, giving her a sense of wonder. She hopes that the viewer will be filled with the same sense of wonder and excitement when looking at this piece. Printed in England, using the highest quality archival paper (Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 300 gsm) and highest quality inks (giclée), to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. This print is also available in a bigger size, A1. Edition of 145, signed and numbered by the artist. In February 2018, this print was on edition 30/145 across the 2 sizes. Kristjana’s prints are sold through many sales channels and some of them sell fast. Therefore we can not guarantee that the next edition is the one you will receive if you buy this print. If you would like to know what the next available edition number is, please contact Saatchi Art customer service before placing your order.
