About The Artwork
Giant Hogweed grow on the side of the A40 driving into London. When I lived in Oxfordshire this was our route into town. Etching seemed the ideal medium to capture the scene.This etching shows the seed heads and bare trunks of surrounding trees and is printed in an edition of 10 in various strengths of prussian blue fading to black. Aquatint has been applied to areas of the background.
