HOOK, LINE & SINKER........Poster Print

This is one of my Allegoric series of paintings that I created in a Pop-Art style of mine, which are in a poster format or fashion, if you wish. These Allegoric paintings are not really for sale, but for printing for whoever wishes to order one. To give you an idea of what this particular one is about, I have written a little poem. I am not claiming to be a poet however :). HOOK,LINE & SINKER. Some have been tumbled and shiny, Twirling around and dangling in front of me, Others have been upright, slippery and stripy, They might have been red or the colour blue, At times I should have gone for a different hue, Especially after realising I had a bit more than I can chew, I could have gone this way or gone that, To win a game or come to a fact, Time was either aplenty or at a lack, So I now weigh and ponder to make a match, Looking from every angle to see what is attached, Because I will never know whether it could be a catch, But there are moments when I stall and fall after I gobble, Being helplessly drawn into mire and trouble, Nowadays I try to avoid getting into a muddle, Although amongst all the colourful and fancy pincers, There is bound to be a few stinkers, That is when I swallow hook, line and sinker.
