I was born in 1972, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I see myself as an (almost) self-taught artist, considering that I didn't study Fine Arts but, on the other hand, I grew up among a family of artists and I was able to observe techniques and styles that served as reference base to develop my work. And it was in Bahia that I spent half my life following my grandfather, Carybé, my first master, in his creations.
