This is one of the "soundscapes", or paintings of musicians in a soundwave influenced background of waveform abstract colors that represent a specific musical tonality or key signature. This one represents the visual palette suggested by the Key of F7, bright, golden and green tones with blue notes implied by the touches of red orange. The PSA after the signature signifies having been juried and elected to the Pastel Society of America. While the painting is long gone, high resolution photos by the artist enables this signed and numbered limited edition of 50 at 24x32" on heavy watercolor paper.

The extensive breadth and excellence of the work of multitalented, multidegreed, modern Renaissance man, Dan Terry of Austin, Tx is almost unfathomable. Known for his work in film, television production, the fine arts of painting, digital 3D, interactive murals and animation, music performance, guitar design and restoration; set, film, product and graphic design, writing (author of four books on human sexual chemistry on Amazon and several screenplays), and teaching. His work has won national and regional awards and acclaim in Computer Animation (Siggraph Aurora Animation1985), Fine art painting (many in juried and museum exhibitions including full election to the Pasterl Society of America), Teaching (National Student Advertising Competition faculty advisor 1990, and others), acting and graphic design. Though one of the pioneers in CGI 3D modeling and rendering, in recent times he's returned to traditional media with a modern twist in the recent unveiling of two murals in the heart of Austin's music entertainment district, one in which static painted images appear to animate as programmable LED lighting changes hue. His work is in the permanent collections of the Witte Museum and the historic Alamo in San Antonio.
