Approximately 16" x 16" (99% square) but on approx. 24 x 24" paper (suggested mount is around this size for a frame of this size) limited edition giclee print . Edition is new and will be for 75. The original is ~23.2" square (59cm) poster paint, PVA glue and acrylics on paper. It was created with in mind, and looks good BIG. It is called 'Klimt Trees' because it 'spot' -ily resembles a couple of famous 'TREE' pictures he did (look 'Tenenbaum' and 'Klimt' and you should see them or similar on the Tinternet) - though the technique is unrelated to what he did. These look great HUGE (24" x 24"+) but had to make sure the image was accurate for the prints, which I collected this morning (24th April 2015). By afternoon it was mounted , framed and up in Bar 50 (re-opening after a refit) - a trendy haunt in Cheltenham (UK) which of course none (most) of you purchasers have ever heard of - coming from snazzy places like New York - but I had to fill at short notice because someone much more famous than me let them down. Seeing it (and other stuff) - the proprietors are happy and have sacked the other (grossly expensive cravat-wearer, arty snob "aren't I JUST the one" type) - so GOODY all round. The original (and prints) were up in Brick Lane Gallery, London for an exhibition in May 2015. Open prints (differnet cropped images available via the 'original' elsewhere in my portfoilio). I painted it over a year ago, but didn't have the cash to get the prints going (at least I don't have to be dead before people want my stuff - HURRAY!)

A chum 'borrowed me' to practice his photography - so here are some images. ........ A hobby became - rather surprisingly another occupation, after I went part-time from my consultant psychiatrist job and devoted more time to THIS . As I worked in a 'proper job' 2 days a week my ability to do exhibitions is limited, but have stuff up locally around Cheltenham in bars and offices. Mainly self-taught, but I go to classes at the excellent and very jolly Cheltenham Fine Art (CFA) School (recommended). No nonsense artist - paints etc because fun and people like my stuff. Hate 'esoteric/enigmatic' types. Anyone can shoot me if I ever say 'my art challenges perceptions' etc. Work from home studio 'Helios House' (silly but I like it name). Have painting on 4 continents, so feel slightly international. Sell via this website and word of mouth, but like many have to eat baked beans and do odd jobs to supplement income. Just thought I'd put stuff on this sight to see if I can eat less of the beans! Comments and requests always welcome (as long as constructive criticism!). Toodle Pip!
