BIO A. Rivera is a seasoned multidisciplinary artist whose roots stem from growing up around the Caribbean culture and graffiti-art in the Bronx, New York. As alumni of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, A. Rivera uses all stages and experiences of his life as inspiration for his abstract art. Creating art using symbols, visceral colors, and hidden messages are just a few of the aesthetics. The art is multidimensional through the layers of colors and glasses that he pressents at the exhibitions. A. Rivera has created collections of work including Volumes, Itchy & Scratchy, and the marvelous Ode to Basquiat etc. which pays homage to the late genius artist Jean M. Basquiat (1960-1988). A.Rivera is a scholor of the arts, studying many facets and genres. Now ...heading to San Francisco Ca. 2020
