Look me in the Eye 3 Print

Inspired by the need to start cleaning up our oceans, I made a series of unique handprinted monotype prints depicting fish-eyes in close-up. The works are addressing the viewer with the following question: "Can you look me in the eye?" I hope to open up conversations about the sustainability of our choices in our day to day life. I've wanted to explore the monotype medium further. As a matrix I used a polished zinc plate which was then worked on with oilbased printmaking inks. The prints were printed on a tabletop Zokei-press on 350g Hahnemuhle etchingpaper. This print is framed with a black/white gallery passepartout size 30x30cm and is available in a wooden frame with polystyrol.
