Ursula Hitz is an artist and designer. Born in rural Switzerland, she cultivated diverse talents in typography, graphics and cheese making. Living in London for 16 years, Ursula's work has focused on location and place. Using classic craft techniques, such as hand lettering and screen printing, she meticulously creates typographic maps of the world's best-known cities. Ursula is interested in the ways that letters capture not only the dimensions of a place, but its personality too. Her work is exhibited, featured and reviewed both online and in selected London galleries. Since 2017 she lives with her family back in Switzerland.
