About The Artwork
This is a solar print where I used the sun to etch into a special surface on a zinc plate, inking and printing it up in the traditional fashion. It is considered a hybrid in that I added acryl-gouache to the surface, so it is one of a kind. The work is meant to evoke a landscape of the mind hence the title. This work is one of a series of three that I completed using this method.
