ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The subject matter is inspired by a mythological story in which Attis, priest of Cybele, goes to Lydia where he teaches and preaches the great mother goddess and her way of life. As people gather for a feast in her name Ares god of war gets jealous and sends a wild boar to end the party right there and then. The boar kills Attis and most of his followers on the spot. Though there is a plot twist to this old story. A couple of heroes wearing skulls are fighting back trying to bring order to this chaos. Will they succeed? No one knows...
