Camila Escobar received her BFA in Fine Arts and BA in Art History from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and a MFA in Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her work revolves around two lines of research: gender, focusing on the role of women in different spheres of society; and on the other hand, the transformation of public and private spaces over time. Likewise, printmaking and ceramics constitute a fundamental part of her artistic practice. Camila has exhibited work in China, Portugal, Colombia and the United States.
