The presented CONCEPT defines an artwork that appears being present in your immediate surrounding. Same to say that with 'Oa51s_homageCYF' the art of Samuel Buttner is present in every art museum / contemporary art gallery world wide. The CONCEPT was sent to a selection of the most leading art museums / galleries - where 'Oa51s_homageCYF' resonated positively, some of which envision a future cooperation. The authentic pigment prints of the 17 piece limited edition are being replicated on 290 gsm 'Hahnemuehle - Matt FineArt Bamboo' which is a prestigious archival paper that consists of 90% bamboo fibre and 10% cotton and has a smooth surface in natural white. The image in this listing shows the 13 to 19 inches format (329 x 483 mm). It is however printed in A2 (420 x 594 mm / 16.5 to 23.4 inches) and looks phantastic with that extra margin, providing still an option to trim it for a deckle edge impression. The photo in this listing is virtual, signature inclusive. Up to 3 out of the 17 prints are complimentary, being reserved for institutions that host and facilitate the mark making of an image in a public square using sidewalk chalks (see 'Appendix' next listing). There is as well room to discuss an optional limited edition of photos documenting the performance. Arrangements can be made until 2020; to be performed just by the artist, or as part of an educational programme, as much as in having the public participate.
