The work is part of the very recent "Itineraria picta" series, made for the personal exhibition "Metamorphosis." I want to create "a world populated by" Memory pulses, subjective and historical, inspired by Greek and Roman classicism. The metamorphosis of the human body "anatomy" and the human body "work of art", humanizing relationships as a result of a comparison between the monumental harmony of the ancient world and the energy of our technological world. A composition in which I try to deepen the relationship between space and time. That is why I used the Roman script.
The technique is painting in screen printing, hand-made, with the "direct method", in 3 colors, on the Fabriano paper ( 3 mm ). It 'a “single piece”, and not a multiple, because use the screen printing technique to the effect of direct impact, is a painting. The silk-screen becomes "my brush", changing the designs and the colors stratified. The work is mounted on the wall, under glass or Plexiglas as well, with or without a frame. Preferably on a white background.
The "Metamorphosis" is the theme of the my artistic career also became the working method and research. I reflect a shift / movement through space and time, within an evolutionary transformation and dialectics which analyzes reports becoming that lead to the mutation stage and metaphor. Subject of many interpretations, the time also has a dynamic dimension. I consider the metamorphosis closely linked to the dynamic aspect of time, because of the continuous and evolutionary change that defines it, and this is the meaning which the artist wishes to convey through the exhibition.
