Present | Cicada Eyes - Changing Visions : from the Time series - Printmaking- Limited Edition / 30 Print

This pieces was created for the Time the Eraser: destroying art while skydiving an painting project. Video can be viewed here - https://youtu.be/F8mvqCA38cU. This series revisits the concept of painting in freefall. This time though, the focus was on capturing the destructive passage of time. Documenting how it slowly erased the work and images that I created, until they ultimately disappeared. I wanted these designs to also have a connection to time, so I drew up these 3 images: Cicada Eyes is a representation of the present, changing visions. This design was flown while skydiving while holding an inflatable sculpture attached to a paint jug that was opened in freefall. Limited edition hand pulled screen prints of /30, of each design were created by myself. Each print in also hand painted and detailed making each print unique. A 36 x 48 custom mad wood panel of each design was also created. Please contact me for more information about these pieces.
