Inspired by the amazing master Rembrandt. Protecting the elderly, has always meant a lot to me. I chose this medium because in this case my drawing of, "Protecting The Elderly`", I thought it would lend itself in showing my technical rendering ability of the use of fast detail, while drawing this image at a quick pace giving the feel of action and movement. Just by using my Winsor & Newton Series 150 Bamboo Brushes and Pen & Ink , I was able to give my work a three dimensional feel of perspective, and contrast. This pen & ink, brush & wash drawing was inspired by great masters like Rembrandt, is where my drawing inspiration and imagination came from. Over the years I had given a great amount of time studying these masters multi techniques of there technical dexterity of light and shadow, contour lines, etc. Also mastering the very important knowledge of perspective, gives my work the illusion of 3D, that pulls the viewer into my world of art. The goal of all of my efforts behind my work, is for my artwork to jump of the wall, out to the on looker, to entertain there visual mind with stimulating symbolic fascination.
