Its meaning meanders from womb-like security to biblical rebirth, a sense of movement and change to foreboding and danger. In this piece, “Reflexo”, the water provides gentle healing, you melt into the background. The appealing use of tropical colors in Camila Pinheiro's distinctive artworks hints at the Brazilian South American roots and high fashion background. With books published in the UK, USA, France, Canada, Spain and Germany, her clean lines and vibrant colors can be found in bookstores, book covers and magazines worldwide. She worked in exhibitions at Yale University, UK art fairs, art galleries and in collaboration with different media such as, Oprah Winfrey’s magazine and major brands around the world.
