About The Artwork

Inspired on the meaning of wearing a poppy in UK in November and the different coloured poppies mean. Created and painted in acrylic on watercolour paper and digitally designed. Hoping to show to the observer the beauty, the different colours, the different textures and meaning of the poppies in UK. Trying to bring a delicate and sad subject in a bright, happy and colourful way. Printed onto 310g Hahnemuble German Paper, this print is signed & numbered by the artist in a Limited Edition of 50 pieces. Comes with a white border around the image for framing options. Also printed on archival Giclee inks, the print retain their beautiful vibrancy in coulor garanteed to last. Prints are made to order. DM for enquiries.

‘At an early age Art became my survival tool in Life and cultural experiences my inspiration. My art making always survived and pulled through all of the changes of the environment and circumstances’. As an Argentine national, aged 25, Carolina was invited to study Advanced Studies in Fine Art at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, England. ‘During this time Carolina discovered my own figurative painting style, characterized by solid structures and the sense of colour that accentuates shape and give a sculptured appearance to her Art Work’. Art Critic Aldo Galli wrote this words after her solo exhibition in 1997 Buenos Aires. Carolina relocated from London to live in Asia 2005. Adding her own 3D printing and Design technics on her art work in Singapore and Hong Kong. Carolina’s work was published in newspapers and social media in the Chinese and English languages. Her work gained significant interest after exhibiting her artwork at La Rotunda, Exchange Square in Hong Kong in 2016. Carolina's 3D art pieces were sponsored and exhibited in a solo show at Areteos Art Space, 1 Hollywood Rd HK in November 2018.
