The artwork is sold ready to frame. **These artworks are created using the photographic studies for the 'Alhambra Dreams' series of photographic compositions. Hugely inspired by several trips to Andalusia in Spain where I visited some amazing sites including the Alhambra in Granada, the Cathedral and the Alcazar in Seville. Most of the blossom and flower photographs were taken within the beautiful grounds of the Alhambra and The Alcazar. Many of these original studies were used to create an extensive collection of fabric designs and artworks for both abstract and figurative patterns including the styles and designs of the amazing tiling and architectural features. These trips now seem like an alternative lifetime away. The original titles in this series made reference to 'Le Moribond' and other works by Belgian Artist, Singer/Songwriter Jacques Brel: "C'est dur de mourir au printemps, tu sais Mais je pars aux fleurs la paix dans l'âme.." *You Were Never promised A Rose Garden*...
