ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I went in a rowing boat down the Thames with a friend and a sketchbook. It was a beautiful calm end of Summer day. All my work start off as a mono type etching, which I then work on if and when is necessary. Most of this was done on the plate. The banks of the Thames are changing, with lots of new buildings, not all of them are better than the ones they have replaced.
