The 36,5 cm high vase exhibited at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara dates to about 1400 BC (Hittite period). The prominence of the vase comes from the fact that some of the scenes depicted in the Hittite texts are depicted. Here young wives are seen celebrating with wine.
Bitik Vase is a vase piece found in Bitik Höyük in 1937. The mound lies 42 km north-west of Ankara, 3 km west of Ankara-Kizilcahamam highway, in the middle of the hill.
